Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is characterised by the harmonious combination of European and American oak casks seasoned with sherry wine in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. The nose reveals notes of fudge, candied orange and lemon, vanilla and gentle spice. On the palate, milk chocolate raisins and creamy toffee are balanced by orange peel and delicate spice. The finish is medium in length, with a lingering sweetness from the oak.
