Description
Moscatel is a Controlled Denomination of Origin (DOC) known by the Portuguese fortified wine produced from muscatel grapes at the origin marked with center in Azeitão. The region, which enjoys a climate mixed, sub-tropical and Mediterranean influenced by the proximity of the sea and the rivers Tejo and Sado, was demarcated in 1907/1908 Moscatel de Setúbal is a fortified wine, with a graduation between 17 º and 18 º. The color varies from light to Topaz Topaz burned and when old wins an unmistakable perfume. There are two types of Moscatel de Setúbal, white and purple, rarer.
