Description

The Quinta do Piloto Moscatel de Setúbal Family Collection is a fortified wine of intense topaz colour with olive green hues. Last attested in barrels in 1996, the nose is very complex and exuberant with notes of honey, dried fruits, coffee, tobacco and hints of surrounding vegetation and subtle spicy aromas reminiscent of curry. On the palate, it is a aged and rare wine with a dense consistency due to the concentration of sugars over the years. It finishes with a vibrant acidity that results in a unique and memorable tasting.

Giving you a taste of the essence of Palmela wines at their best is the promise of Quinta do Piloto. A promise based on the excellence of the terroirs where old vines of traditional varieties such as Castelão and Moscatel shine. Vinified using the region's ancestral methods, thanks to the know-how of four generations of the Cardoso family, the wines of Quinta do Piloto are elegant, exponents of indigenous grape varieties and small quantities of varieties chosen for their excellence.
