Ouzo is the drink of the Greek islands. The characteristic taste of this spirit comes from the carefully selected herbs and the spices - anise, star of anise, hay, chestnuts, coriander, cinnamon and cardamom. It should be served cold in a small glass either on its own or with an equal amount of water or ice. Turns milky white when water is added.
