Taylor's is launching a limited edition Tawny Reserve Port wine that aims to celebrate its long history of pioneering spirit and passion. The bottle specially developed for this limited edition was inspired by wine bottles manufactured in England between 1715 and 1740. The intense orange core fades into a reddish rim. The nose is ripe and complex, full of subtle nuances. Aromas of plum, fig, and sultanas combine with sweet notes of marzipan and biscuit. Hints of cedar wood and leather add an exotic dimension to the nose. The wine, round and seductive, with discreet but well-integrated tannins, displays attractive acidity. Rich flavours of English cake and fresh plum stand out on a long finish. Wonderfully balanced and harmonious, with all the elegance and intensity imparted by oak cask ageing.
