Description

Château La Tour Carnet is located in the Bordeaux sub-region of Haut-Médoc. The wine produced was classified as one of the ten Quatrièmes Crus in Bordeaux's historic 1855 Official Wine Classification, at the time known by the name Carnet. The property dates back to the early Middle Ages and has been owned by Bernard Magrez since 1999. Today, Château La Tour Carnet extends over 126 hectares of which 73 hectares are vineyard, planted with 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 50% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, as well as white varieties of which there is a distribution of 45% Sauvignon blanc, 15% Sauvignon gris and 30% Sémillon.
