Description

Château Mouton Rothschild is one of the most prestigious wine producers in the world.

This wine is made exclusively from the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety and has a deep, bright ruby colour. On the nose, it reveals complex aromas of ripe red fruits, spices and chocolate. On the palate, it's a powerful, robust wine with firm, round tannins and a long, persistent finish with notes of vanilla and chocolate. Thanks to its robustness, it is ideal with red meat dishes.

Château Mouton Rothschild was founded in 1730 and since then has been considered one of the best wine producers in the world. The estate was bought by Baron Nathaniel Rothschild in 1863 and has been run by the Rothschild family ever since.

Château Mouton Rothschild is known for its exceptional quality, but also for its creativity, as since the 1945 vintage, all the wine labels have been illustrated by renowned contemporary artists.
