Description

Hussonet, named after one of Chile's most famous racing colts, is an elegant and charming wine with a strong territorial identity. The vineyards are located in the prestigious Maipo Valley, ideal for producing high-quality Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 12 months and then 12 months in bottle. It has a long and persistent flavour with delicate notes of chocolate and cedar with pleasant tannins. A true Maipo-Andes classic.

The estate is located in Pirque, central part of the country, one of the most prestigious and well-known areas of the Maipo Valley for vineyard planting, at the foot of the Andes. The Maipo Alto area lies between 500 and 800 metres above sea level, an area with a temperate thermal amplification with native vegetation of myrtles and boldos which on occasions give the wines balsamic characteristics. Thus, the wines produced in this area contain a high concentration of tannins, great structure and intense colour.
