Cultivating the art of Champagne with passionJacquesson is one of the most historic houses in Champagne. Founded more than two centuries ago, it was the birthplace of notable figures, including Johann-Joseph Krug, who left in 1843 to establish his own maison. Despite its long tradition, Jacquesson has become one of the region’s most innovative producers since brothers Laurent and Jean-Hervé Chiquet took over in the 1980s.
They adopted a vineyard-focused philosophy, free from pesticides, and revolutionised the house style by replacing the traditional non-vintage approach with annual single-vintage cuvées, each one numbered to faithfully reflect its base year. This vision allows enthusiasts to continually explore new expressions of Jacquesson, guided by precision, character and creativity.
