In Sarnadas de Ródão, Castelo Branco, the medical ophthalmologist Manuela Carmona now begins her wine project with 11 hectares of vineyard right next to A23. Were it not for the number 23 to be associated with the A23 motorway, Adega 23 could have been nicknamed by any other name. But it was not. And so it brings with it a story.
