Quanta Terra Non Vintage white
Description
Quanta Terra Non Vintage white is a Douro wine made from Gouveio, Viosinho and Rabigato, bringing together wines from different vintages – 2019, 2021 and 2024 – in a blend designed to preserve consistency and identity over time. The combination of vintages captures different expressions of the region, resulting in a fresh, elegant and structured white.
On the palate, it offers a fine balance between freshness and volume, with an enveloping texture and vibrant acidity that provide liveliness and persistence. The combination of different vintages and traditional Douro grape varieties contributes to its complexity and harmony.
The finish is persistent and elegant, highlighting the character of the grape varieties and the distinctive expression of the Douro.
Both Celso Pereira and Jorge Alves could have the nickname "Quanta Terra", were they not the personification of the wine brand themselves. More than just a besotted passion for the world of wine, Quanta Terra took its first steps in the 1990s, when both met while working in the oenology department of Caves Transmontanas. They quickly developed professional complicity which would allow them to create a solid base for Quanta Terra, which was just an idea at the time.
