Ramos Pinto 30 years Port
Description
A serene, knowing wine, just like an old but attentive man who tells great stories to the younger ones. Magnificent tawny colour with orange highlights. At the bottom of the glass, it is lively, with hints of tawny red, then evolving into a greenish halo, characteristic of old wines aged in cask. Aroma of admirable elegance. At first, it is warm and charming, highlighting the vanilla and dried fruit aromas, a product of its ageing. As the glass is shaken, the spicy aromas of cinnamon and cocoa stand out. In the mouth, it is silky and long. On the palate, after a sensation of dried fruits, such as almond and hazelnut, there follows a surprising and pleasant freshness caused by palates of an ethereal nature, culminating with a liqueur-like taste.
