Description

A.H. Riise Non Plus Ultra Black originating from the U.S. Virgin Islands, this is a limited edition and is a rum aged in heavily burnt American oak barrels. It has a dark colour, almost black, and aromas of peach, milk chocolate, caramel, and slightly burnt butter. On the palate it is rich and smooth, highlighting the flavours of milk chocolate, almonds, and orange, revealing a long, smooth and elegant finish.

Albert Heinrich Riise was a Danish pharmacist who settled on the island of Saint Thomas, a former Danish colony. This rum is distilled in the US Virgin Islands.
