Description

The Contraband rum is produced, aged and bottled in Guadeloupe. It owes its name to the path previously used by the smugglers, located near its bottling place. Today called "The Smugglers' Trail", this road crosses the massive Basse Terre mountains from west to east and was used to transport forbidden goods. The aroma of this rum presents intense notes of nutmeg, cloves and vanilla. The finish is punctuated with coffee notes.
