Rum Dictador XO Perpetual is made from the fermentation of virgin sugar cane honey, distilled in an ancient copper still and aged in the highest quality pre-used ex-bourbon oak barrels. It was finalized with the traditional method of this family, by their master blender who conceives them with all his skills and senses. The result is the finest blend using only the best barrels from each year, approved for bottling under the highest quality control. Deep, noble mahogany brown colour, incredibly dark but with golden brilliance and superb richness in the glass. Hypnotic aroma, with intricate roasted honey, Colombian coffee, real caramel, dark chocolate, ripe oak, and perfect roundness. The mouthfeel is extremely smooth with light, sweet notes of Colombian coffee and dark chocolate. The finish is long and complex, with light oak flavours emerging, giving the feeling of extreme quality and balance between strength and smoothness.
