With a blend of the oldest Plantation reserves, this rum is something else. Selected aged rums from the Caribbean are then meticulously blended by the master distiller at the Château de Bonbonnet. It is then matured in small French oak barrels for a further 12 to 18 months. The double ageing gives the rum an incomparably round and creamy flavour. The colour of old mahogany, Plantation XO reveals a nose with exotic notes of vanilla, oak and toasted coconut, reinforced by more complex aromas of cocoa, candied orange and cigar box.
