Zacapa Ámbar 12 years is a blend of rums aged between 4 and 12 years, aged in Sistema Solera, in barrels where previously matured American whiskies, and fine Jerez wine. This is a rum of engaging flavours and a dry finish.

Rum Zacapa was first created in 1976 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of Zacapa, a town in Guatemala, located approximately 112 km from Guatemala City, where this Rum is produced. It is made from the first pressing of virgin sugar cane, aged using the Sistema Solera method and then selected and blended by Master Blender Lorena Vásquez.
