The Speyside Distillery, situated in the magnificent Cairngorm Mountains, is widely recognised as the most beautiful of all Scotland's distilleries. It was originally a barley mill, dating back to the 1700s, which closed in 1965.
Over the next 25 years, it was slowly converted into a single malt distillery, which began producing whisky at Christmas 1990, using the waters of the River Spey to produce its spirit.
