Aguardente Bagaceira is the result of the distillation of post-fermented grapes, which is called Bagaço. This grape spirit presents a fine and elegant aroma, in which the characteristic fruit of the Bagaço is well involved in balsamic wood nuances conferring complexity.
Fabrica Ancora was founded in the 1940s in 19th century and remained in production until the 1980s in the 20th century. Unfortunately no longer exists. During the nearly 140 years in which it existed, it produced several distilled beverages that were undoubtedly leaders in their categories, namely absinthe, whose label is still copied today by the competition. In addition, it manufactured the vast range of liquor distilleries: ponche, rum, genever (the Portuguese gin in the famous crockery bottles), peach liqueur, triplice (triple sec), holland curacao, anise, gold liquor (eau-de-vie from dantzig), among others.
