Almost 250 years ago, the Hacienda de Corralejo was founded and became one of the property towns in Mexico to produce tequila. Since this historic date in 1755, Corralejo Tequila distillation methods have been preserved, perfected, and developed by master craftsmen who know how to produce real tequila.
In 1994, the President of Mexico asked Don Leonardo of Corralejo Distillery to produce 2000 cases of aged Añejo to toast the new millennium. To symbolise Mexico's long history and the richness of tequila Corralejo, like the spirit of Kings, created a bottle in the shape of a crown to highlight the moment in history when Tequila was first introduced to the Spanish by natives when they arrived in the region.
