The history of Tequila Ocho dates back to 1937, when the Camarena family began their journey in tequila production. Now in its third generation of master tequileros, this is one of the few families that still follows a careful artisanal process. With the Camarenas, nothing is rushed: from the cultivation of the agave to the final distillation, each stage is conducted with patience and dedication. All the tequila produced by the Camarena family is made exclusively from agave grown in their own fields - a privilege that few producers share.
With limited production and meticulous care, every drop of Tequila Ocho embodies the heart and passion of the Camarena family's Mexican soul. What's more, all their tequila is 100 per cent agave, preserving the authenticity and quality that define their tradition.
