Tinta Roriz is one of the most planted red grape varieties in Portugal, also known as Aragonês and Tempranillo, the most common name in Spain. It is an early variety, very vigorous and productive, and easily adaptable to different climates and soils. The resulting wines are smooth but full-bodied, aromatically intense and complex, with great ageing potential.
