Description

The Van Zellers 40 Year Old Port is a distinguished Tawny, crafted from a blend of wines sourced from old vines in the Cima Corgo, featuring over 30 traditional Douro grape varieties. Produced with foot treading in lagares and aged for around four decades in very old wooden casks, it reveals remarkable complexity. On the nose, it shows notes of delicate fruit, raisins, toasted caramel, chocolate and subtle spices. On the palate, it is rich, intense and voluptuous, offering an elegant and deeply engaging experience.
