2019 Definido white

From an early age, Carlos Raposo realized his connection with nature, which is why at the age of 16 he followed oenology and viticulture at the CVR Bairrada school. At the age of 20, he left for France, where he studied for seven years in Bordeaux and Burgundy. He obtained a degree in Viticulture at the University of Burgundy and a master's degree in Oenology at the University of Bordeaux. In 2011, at the age of 27, he definitely returned to Portugal where he started working with Dirk Niepoort. Although young, his experience around the world, passion and dedication made him the key man of Dirk, at Quinta de Nápoles, in the Douro. He worked hard to sculpt delicious wines like Batuta, elegant like Coche, with character like Robustus and Redoma. But also Turris and all the other projects he started, from Dão to Vinhos Verdes. Carlos partially left Niepoort in mid-2018, continuing to work together with Dirk on the Vinhos Verdes project. In 2018, he returned to his origins, creating his own project called Vinhos Imperfeitos (Imperfect Wines). Carlos is a native of the Dão region, knows the potential of the region very well and has long idealized the wines he wants to make there. Now in 2020 the WWW (World Wild Wines) are launched, singular, unique and high quality wines, a concept of different wines, using the best that nature gives us, in the different terroirs of the world, our goal is simply to translate it for a glass of wine.
