Description

Alcambar red wine is produced from the grape varieties Marufo, Bastardo, Rufete, Jaen and Tinta Amarela, and presents a ruby colour, with a young aroma and fresh red fruit. On the palate, freshness and soft tannins predominate, revealing a balanced and elegant aftertaste.

The Adega do Fundão is founded in 1949 by the hands of 30 winegrowers from the Beira Interior region and is located in Cova da Beira, a vine-growing area dating back to the 2nd century and the Roman settlements of that time.

The vineyards are planted along the Serra da Gardunha, which allows the production of grapes that give the wines a richness, freshness and exuberance without equal.
