Description

Mullineux Granite Syrah Swartland red is a distinctive expression of the granitic terroir of Swartland, sourced from vineyards planted on granite soils that bring purity and precision to the wine. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts, followed by extended ageing in French oak barrels and foudres, and further bottle ageing.

The nose reveals notes of red fruits, complemented by floral hints and a pronounced mineral character. On the palate, it shows fine, structured tannins with an elegant texture and notable freshness. The finish is long and persistent, highlighting a complex wine with excellent ageing potential.
