Description

The Arvad Negra Mole red is born from clay-limestone soils and a Mediterranean climate influenced by the Atlantic, conditions that enhance the natural delicacy of this variety. Pale ruby in colour, it reveals aromas of fresh strawberries, cherries and raspberries, wrapped in subtle notes of clay and aromatic herbs that lend it a distinctive character. On the palate it is vibrant, very smooth and classically elegant, with a medium-length finish that highlights the authentic expression of Negra Mole.

Arvad is a wine project created in 2016 on the banks of the Arade River, in Silves. The name, meaning “refuge”, reflects the philosophy of the brand: wines crafted with care, authenticity and respect for the terroir. Benefiting from a Mediterranean climate with Atlantic influence and clay-limestone soils shaped by the region’s history, Arvad produces wines of distinctive character under the guidance of winemaker Bernardo Cabral, whose first vinification took place in 2019.
