Caves Transmontanas are based their notoriety and particularity on the fact that they produce, exclusively, Premium category sparkling wines. The company started its activity in the 1980s, with an ambitious project to produce top-quality sparkling wines in the Douro region, produced by the Classic Method, and later also invested in the production of still wines.
Located in Alijó, it benefits from the Mediterranean micro-climate of the Cima Corgo sub-region, producing not only sparkling wines with the right freshness and aromatic profile but also dense and complex wines.
