The white wine Paço dos Intantes, produced from the Chardonnay grape variety sourced from clay-limestone soils of the Herdade da Lisboa estate, aged in new French oak barrels for 6 months, with periodic batonnage to give the wine volume and richness.
Herdade da Lisboa was acquired by the Cardoso Family in 2011 and is located in Vidigueira, bringing together three harmonious aspects: wine production, olive oil, and wine tourism. In the 1980s and 1990s, the property contributed to the recognition of Alentejo wines with the brand Paço dos Infantes, and today they have a total area of 350 hectares, with 100 hectares dedicated to vineyards, 200 hectares for olive cultivation, and an additional 10 hectares for fruit orchards and horticultural crops, all using sustainable production practices.
