Description
Contrasto red is a wine obtained from the Nero d'Avola grape variety, revealing an intense ruby colour, red fruit aromas and light hints of spice. It denotes character and great balance, finishing in harmony and softness.
Sicily has always been a place of contrasts: fertile and arid, bright and dark. The vineyards of the Augustali family, stretch across the mountainous landscape between the provinces of Trapani and Palermo, in the centre of the Gulf of Castellammare. From the interpretation of a unique territory, Contrasto wines are born, named after the poetic style of Ciullo d'Alcamo and his famous literary work "Rosa Fresca Aulentissima".
