Vidal is a hybrid grape variety, resulting from the union between Ugni Blanc and Seibel. It is the most widely grown grape for Icewine in Ontario, showing good levels of natural acidity, which lends great structure to the lushness of its tropical mango and lychee aromas and flavours.
Inniskillin Vidal Icewine is produced in two distinct styles, without oak ageing to emphasize the fresh fruit, and with oak ageing to impart greater complexity.
