Description
In the 18th century, the owner Jean Belso had Château de Loupiac built. In 1854, Reinhold Dezeimeris, renowned in the region for having been one of the main producers fighting Phylloxera, settled in Château de Loupiac, only to sell the property in 1919 to Camille Ducau, grandfather of Marc Ducau, who had owned the neighbouring Château Pontac since 1886. Thus began the history of a family business spanning 6 generations. Château de Loupiac has 30 hectares of vineyards, 26 of which are dedicated to the production of AOC Loupiac white wine and 4 to AOC Bordeaux. The grapes, exclusively, hand-picked originate wines with a genial and vivid profile.
