The Domaine Leflaive is located in the village of Puligny-Montrachet, an famous area for producing of great white wines of guard in the Côte de Beaune. Currently owns 4 Grand Cru’s and 5 Premier Cru’s. The history of Domaine dates back to 1920 when its founder Joseph Leflaive undertook a major restructuring of the family vineyards in Puligny commune. The current manager, his granddaughter and heiress, is Anne-Claude Leflaive, who heads the project on behalf of the rest of the family. Their wines, and the region, are known for their concentration and opulence, while maintaining a thin, mineral and fresh side featuring the great whites of Burgundy, and Leflaive is undoubtedly one of the great names of Burgundy.
