Description

Quinta do Gradil 100% Arinto, whose fermentation took place in a sphere-shaped tank (called Galilleu) and aged on the fine lees for 6 months, presents itself with a citrus colour, aromas of lime, lemon and lemon tree flower. A very fresh and mineral wine, thanks to the natural acidity of the grape variety combined with the Atlantic climate of Quinta do Gradil, balanced by the structure and complexity, it harmonizes perfectly with all kinds of fatty dishes, such as fish fry or grilled sardines.

Quinta do Gradil is referenced in the history of Portuguese wines since 1492. However, it was only in the 17th century that vines and wine became part of the economic activity of the estate. But it was in the 19th century that one of the most decisive moments happened, when Dona Maria do Carmo Romeiro da Fonseca inherited Quinta do Gradil from her father, turning it into a reference agricultural business, focusing on wine production. Several years have passed and Quinta do Gradil continues to be a Portuguese reference in the world, and is now led by Luís Vieira.
