The Pata Choca red is a distinctive wine made from the Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional and Syrah grape varieties.
After ageing in French and American oak barrels, this wine is clear and garnet-coloured. The nose shows a good intensity of aromas of red and wild fruit, jams, jam and chocolate. On the palate, it is intense and soft, with volume and unctuousness, giving harmony and very good final persistence.
Based in Sobral de Monte Agraço and founded by Diogo Zuzarte Martins, Adega Mor continues a family business started in 1946 by the Zuzarte family. This family, known for its determination and hard work, has invested cautiously over the decades, accumulating a heritage of around 200 hectares of its own vineyards in the Lisbon wine region of Alenquer, which supply part of Adega Mor's production.
