Description

The Rua da Betesga Reserva red is an exceptional wine, composed mainly of Syrah and Castelão, complemented by 20 per cent from older vines with indigenous grape varieties.

This wine stands out for its fruity tasting notes, with intense aromas of black forest fruits and spices. With a good structure, it is dense, with tannins that are present but soft, providing a persistent and harmonious finish.

Winemaking is carried out with fermentation at a controlled temperature, followed by a 6-month ageing period in French and American oak barrels, giving it complexity and elegance.

Based in Sobral de Monte Agraço and founded by Diogo Zuzarte Martins, Adega Mor continues a family business started in 1946 by the Zuzarte family. This family, known for its determination and hard work, has invested cautiously over the decades, accumulating a heritage of around 200 hectares of its own vineyards in the Lisbon wine region of Alenquer, which supply part of Adega Mor's production.
