2023 Página Pinot Noir red

Página red is produced from the Pinot Noir grape variety, from a 1.49 hectare vineyard in the Óbidos designation of origin. Special emphasis is placed on environmental and health issues in its production, and the grapes that produce it come from vineyards certified under the Integrated Production rules, making up a selected and concentrated blend. It has an open ruby colour, aromas of ripe and intense red fruits, with a slight woodiness from ageing. Despite its youthful tannins, it is a well harmonised wine with balanced acidity.

The Quinta do Porto Nogueira was founded in 1738, in the first half of the 18th century, and was always owned by the same family until the second half of the 20th century. The current owners acquired it at the beginning of the 21st century. The estate's 20 hectares of vineyards are planted on clay soils, marked by the influence of the natural microclimate of the foothills of the Serra de Todo-o-Mundo and its proximity to the Atlantic sea, some 20 kilometres away. A vineyard without irrigation that has unique characteristics, unrivalled freshness and a natural salinity. As a result, the wines are characterised by their singularity.
