Description

Bushmills 10 years is aged partly in American oak ex-bourbon barrels and a smaller part in Spanish oak ex-sherry barrels. It has a golden colour and an elegant aroma, very balanced, fine and smooth, with notes of cereals, citrus fruits, with lemon being the most prominent, liquorice, a floral touch and vanilla nuances. The palate is sweet and slightly creamy, confirming the notes on the nose. The finish is long, revealing notes of wood, almonds and honey.

In the small village of Bushmills, set on the banks of the river we find the oldest distillery in Ireland. A place where family and friends have worked over several generations, in a small Northern Irish village, which for over 400 years has maintained the philosophy that hand-crafting small batches are the way to produce wonderfully smooth Irish Whiskey.
