Mellow Corn is a simple corn whisky that has been aged for 2 years in used barrels at Heaven Hill. Unlike the bourbon style, which needs to have at least 51% corn and aged in new high toast oak barrels, a corn whisky must contain at least 80% corn and, if aged, can be aged in new or used light toast oak barrels.
