Old Overholt whiskey is considered the oldest continuously operating whiskey brand in America, first produced in 1810 by Abraham Overholt in West Overton, Pennsylvania.

Currently, Old Overholt is produced in Clermont, Kentucky, at the Jim Beam distillery, and aged for three years in American white oak barrels. Since 2020, the cold filtration process has been suspended, resulting in a light amber colour and a delicate, floral aroma with hints of peach peel and fresh mint, along with subtle notes of tobacco and toffee. The taste is hot and spicy, featuring white pepper, apricots, and sweet cereal flavours, finishing with a touch of bitter herbs.
