It is said that William Teacher did not want to name the blend after himself until he had arrived at the perfect recipe, in which 45% of its composition is blended high-quality malt whiskies.
Revealingly deep and smooth, it has a peaty smoke flavour that slowly fades giving way to sweeter flavours such as apple, pear, and honey. The finish is well balanced with a fullness that ends with a slow fading of flavours. Teacher's Highland Cream is truly a masterpiece.
