John Duff, founder of the BenRiach distillery, was an avid explorer in search of adventures in the world of whisky. Before building his distillery in 1898, Duff traveled extensively, and this experience influenced his approach to distilling and cask maturation. With a creative spirit, BenRiach became a pioneer in malt alchemy, challenging boundaries and driving innovation. The distillery uses an unconventional still and produces three styles of single malt whisky: unpeated, peated, and triple distilled.
