The Jazz Crescendo 2023 Special Release 10-year-old Clynelish whisky is a limited edition from Diageo.
On the nose, it's practically a classic, waxed example. A fruity profile, with hints of white grapes, green bananas, lemons and vanilla, combines with suggestions of wet pebbles and a delicate iodised aroma. On tasting, the fruit takes centre stage, yet there's a honey-like sweetness that underpins everything, along with a touch of pungent spices, nuts and a pinch of salt. The finish is medium-long, sweet and waxen, with some coconut shavings.
