Description

The first German rye whisky distillery was founded in 2004 and taken over in 2016 by Steffen Lohr, Sebastian Brack and Bastian Heuser. The Stork Club distillery is located just 60 km south of Berlin, in the middle of a nature reserve. Locally grown German rye, the pure water of the nature reserve and the prospecting to experience the pristine grains of Europe are the ingredients for one of Europe's most prized rye whiskeys. Whisky partially aged in ex-Laphroaig casks. Ageing in American and German oak barrels complete this whisky with sweet, clean aromas.
