Description

Château Mouton de Pauillac was acquired in 1863 by Baron Nathaniel Rothschild, who changed its name to Château Mouton Rothschild. In 1922, Baron Philippe de Rothschild took the reins of the estate and quickly restored the Château's name to the top with the first wine bottlings in 1924.

Today, Mouton Cadet is managed by the grandson, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, who continues to ensure the utmost quality of the wines produced on the estate, preserving the Bordeaux terroir in each wine.
