Sylvius Gin is a handcrafted gin, produced in small batches in one of the oldest Dutch distilleries at Onder de Boompjes in Schiedam, dating from 1658. It is described as a modern look at Dutch-era botanists and a tribute to the man who first he recorded a juniper distillate named Genievre, the physicist and scientist Franciscus de le Boe Sylvius.
