Young entrepreneur Manuel María González began his career in the world of wine as a merchant, in partnership with Juan Bautista Dubosc and Francisco Gutiérrez de Agüera. Given the success of his company, he quickly became involved in production under the guidance of his maternal uncle, José Ángel. In his honour, he christened the founding solera "Solera del Tío Pepe". Thus began the legend of the most famous Jerez in the world, which in 1854, with only 20 years of existence, became one of the best-known references and the first exporter of Jerez wine in Spain. Currently, with wineries located in different regions of the planet, the 5th generation, maintains the business in the family format and exports their products to over 100 countries.
