The Adega Cooperativa de Vidigueira, Cuba e Alvito was founded in 1960, but its chronology goes far beyond its 60 years of existence. It was created to protect the vineyards, wine, and the age-old lifestyle of this sub-region of the Alentejo and to invest even more in renowned, quality wines.
With an approximate production of 6 million litres of wine per year and 8 million kilos of grapes per harvest, resulting from the exploitation of around 1,500 hectares of vines of its around 300 members, it is today a modern and prominent winery.
