1994 Quinta do Portal Colheita Port

Quinta do Portal is a Portuguese, family-owned, and independent company that embraced with all the passion the concept of "Boutique Winery". Besides producing Douro wines and Port wines of special categories, it is also dedicated to the exclusive production of Douro Muscatel and Olive Oil.

This project materialized in the early 90s, based on Quinta dos Muros, a centennial property of the Mansilha family, and the Port Wine that had been produced there for 4 generations. With a vision of the future, they immediately bet on the creation of world-class Douro wines, being part of the first group of the new generation of Douro producers, focused on the quality of their products.

Thus, the theme of "Sustainability" also became part of the daily life of Quinta do Portal, where the vineyards are under Integrated Production, obliging them to respect certain norms to guarantee environmental protection. They are also members of The Porto Protocol, a movement whose values are Sustainability, Optimism, and Sharing, through Responsibility, Collaboration, and Commitment, promoting a world where companies join forces and act together to delay and change climate change.
