Tokaj Classic Winery is located in the heart of the Mád region and its wines are the result of a volcanic and post-volcanic terroir, where the soil is extremely rich in rhyolite-tufa, zeolite, quartz, kaolin, and trace elements, enabling the preservation and retention of moisture.

As it is an unusual and extremely favourable soil for growing vines, the wines derived from it possess the distinctive and so important characteristic of sweet wines, sharp acidity.

In the last 20 years, the winery has exported its high quality and highly regarded wines to many countries. Although the focus of production has so far been on sweet wines, in recent years interest in dry wines has also grown, thus expanding the range to include dry wines with all the fantastic characteristics of this unique production area.
